Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for engagement against the below mentioned position on contract basis for a period of one year under the National Programme on Antimicrobial Resistance Containment in the Department of Microbiology Govt. Medical College. Srinagar

Name of the Post : Infection Control Nurse

Salary : 25,000 Per Month

Age of the candidates must not be more than 40 years

Terms &Conditions :-

1) The contractual engagement is not being made against any substantive post and as such won’t confer any right upon the hired person for regular/permanent appointment. The contractual engagee shall have to furnish an affidavit duly attested by the 1st Class Judicial Magistrate to the effect that he/she will not claim for regular appointment at any time in future date on the strength of this contractual engagement.

2) The engagement will be initially made for a period of one year or till continuation of the scheme whichever is earlier and will be extended further with break of 01 to 02 days subject to the satisfactory performance of the candidate/approval of the competent authority and :-

a) Availability of Budget;

b) Continuation of this scheme.

3) The selected candidate shall have to execute an agreement that he/she will not leave the Department before the completion of one year’s contract. However, abandoning/termination of the engagement under the scheme will require one month’s prior notice on either side, failing which the remuneration shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and shall be released on completion of sanctioned term.

4) The selected candidate have to work as per the job assigned under the above referred project.

5) If a contractual engagee at any point of time willfully neglects or refuses to perform the assigned duties, his/her engagement shall be terminated forthwith without any notice and he/she shall not be entitled to any salary for such period.

6) No T.A/D.A etc shall be paid to the candidates for participation in the written test/interview.

Note :-

a) The candidates must upload the following certificates at the time of submitting the application form :

1. Date of Birth Certificate

ii. Domicile certificate

iii. Degree Certificate

iv. Higher qualification, if any

v. Two years clinical/hospital-based experience certificate.

vi. Fee receipt of Rs. 300/-

b) Age of the candidates must not be more than 40 years on the date of submission of the application form.

c) In case of large number of applications for the above positions, the candidates will be shortlisted for the interview/written test in accordance with the number of positions/availability of space.

b) Link for filling up online application form for the above position shall be available on the official website of Government Medical College Srinagar w.e.f. 15.12.2024 from 10:00 AM onwards to 21.12.2024 upto 4:00PM only;

c) Candidates are required to apply online through the Official Website of Government Medical College, Srinagar only;

d) The requisite original documents issued by the competent authority on the format prescribed for the purpose must be produced at the time of document verification or as and when sought by the Selection Committee.
