Selection list for the posts of Medical Officers (Allopathic) in the J&K Health & Family Welfare (Gazetted) Service – cancellation of appointments thereof.

WHEREAS, as per recommendation of the J&K Public Service Commission, the Health and Medical Education Department vide various Government Orders viz Government Order No. 514-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 26.06.2023, Government Order No. 560-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 13.07.2023, Government Order No. 706-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 31.08.2023, Government Order No. 842-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 12.10.2023, Government Order No. 974-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 04.12.2023, Government Order No. 192-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 13.03.2024 & Government Order No. 16-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 11.04.2024 accorded sanction to the temporary appointment of selectees candidates as Medical Officers in J&K Health & Family Welfare (Gazetted) Service in the pay scale! Level-9 (Rs. 52700-166700), along with their postings, subject to the fulfillment of various conditions which Include the following :-

A. The appointee(s) shall submit’ their joining reports physically to their concerned Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DD0s) within a period of 21 days from the date of issuance of this order and in case of failure of any appointee to join within the stipulated period, his/her appointment shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio without any further notice.

B. All the concerned Drawing & Disbursing Officers of Health & Family Welfare Department shall submit categoric report/details of appointees who fail to join physically within the stipulated time period immediately after expiry of 21 days to the Administrative Department concerned Directorates. Besides, attendance along with documentary evidence in respect of the appointees, who joined physically, shall be submitted at the end of every month to the Administrative Department concerned Directorates and in case any discrepancy of facts is brought to the notice of Administrative Department, action as warranted under rules, shall be taken against such ODO(s).

AND WHEREAS, vide this departments letter dated 20.06.2023, followed by reminders dated 02.08,2024 & dated 27.09.2024, the Director, Health Services, Jammu/Kashmir were requested to furnish the details of all the appointees who have failed to join physically before the concerned DDO’s upto last day of their joining report or are absconding from their place of postings after submission of their joining report on the devised proforma within 05 days positively;

AND WHEREAS, the Director, Health Services, Jammu/Kashmir vide their communication No. DHSJ/ES-3/747 dated 24.06.2024 and No. 1st-3/1-133/3184 dated 11.07.2024, dated 07.10.2024 respectively have furnished the details of all the appointees who have failed to join physically before the concerned DDO’s up to the last day of their joining report / are absconding from their place of postings after submission of their joining report,

NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ordered that the appointments in respect of following 17 Medical Officers vide various Government Orders 514-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 26-06.2023, Government Order No. 560-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 13-07.2023, Government Order No. 706-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 31.08.2023, Government Order No. 842-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 12.10.2023, Government Order No. 974-JK(HME) of 2023 dated 04.12.2023, Government Order No. 192-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 13.03.2024 & Government Order No. 16-JK(HME) of 2024 dated 1.04.2024 shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio, as these Medical Officers have failed to join within stipulated time :-
