Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Field workers under the project entitled “
In-situ and Ex-situ Conservation of indigenous fishes (snow trouts) viz a viz fish production in Kashmir Himalaya for
livelihood security” purely on contractual basis and co-terminus with the project.

The detail of the positions is given below :

Name of the Posts : Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Number of posts : 01

Eligibility :

Qualification: MFSc
Desirable : candidates with NET/PhD in Fisheries Resource Management/ Aquaculture/ Fish Genetics and Biotechnology/Fisheries with experience in endocrinology/breeding

Monthly emoluments : As per DBT norms

Name of the Posts : Field workers

Number of posts : 02

Eligibility :

Qualification : BFSc/BSc

Desirable : MFSc in Fisheries Resource Management/Aquaculture/Fish Genetics and Biotechnology/Fisheries with experience in endocrinology/breeding

Monthly emoluments : As per DBT norms

Terms & Conditions :

1. The selected candidate shall not claim for regular appointment at this institute as the above positions are contractual in nature and co-terminus with project.
2. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
3. No-Objection Certificate from the employer, in case he/she has an employment.
