Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria before attending the walk-in interview.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

Chargeman (Electrical):

Minimum 20 years’ experience in Electrical line with 10 years as Chargeman/Supervisor in underground metalliferous mines.

Electrician ‘A’:

Minimum 20 years’ experience in Electrical line with 10 years as an electrician.

Electrician ‘B’:

Minimum 20 years’ experience in Electrical line with 7 years as an electrician.

Mining Mate:

Minimum 20 years’ experience in mines with 10 years as a Mining Mate in underground metalliferous mines.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit for all positions is 63 years on the date of the interview.

Statutory Certificates

Chargeman (Electrical): Valid Supervisor Permit covering mining installations.

Electrician ‘A’ & ‘B’: Valid Wireman Permit from the Government Electrical Inspector.

Mining Mate: Valid Mate Certificate for Metalliferous Mines (Unrestricted) and First Aid Certificate.
