Sher-i-Kashmir Institute Of Medical Sciences Soura Srinagar Various Posts
Applications on prescribed format are invited from permanent residents of J&K State for filling up the following posts purely on temporary basis for a period of three months in ICMR/DHR funded project entitled “State Level Viral Research & Diagnostic Laboratory” sanctioned by, MOH & FW, Gor at Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences, Soura, Srinagar.
HOW TO APPLY:
The Application forms can be downloaded from SKIMS web site www.skims.ac.in only w.e.f 05-10-2017 to 20-10-2017.
The downloaded printouts of the application forms along with the attested copies of certificates/ documents shall reach the office of the undersigned up to 20-10-2017 and no application form shall be entertained beyond the last date.
Date of Interview shall be notified separately.

The posts will be filled up purely on temporary basis.
The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any
Since the post is purely temporary, the candidates selected will have no claim for regular appointments under the above project or continuation of his/her services in any other project. Also the candidate cannot claim for any regular appointment at this Institute after termination of the post.
No TA/DA etc. will be given to attend the interview or joining of post and candidate should make his/her arrangement for stay for interview and joining of post.
Qualification and experiences should be from any Govt. /Govt. recognized reputed institution.
Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the interview call and selection.
Separate application should be submitted for each post.

Post Graduate degree (MD) Microbiology with one year R&D / teaching experience or Post graduate diploma in Microbiology with two years R&D / teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university. Or First class masters degree in the relevant subjects from a recognized university with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st class masters degree, or Second class M.Sc.+ Ph. D degree in the relevant subject froma recognized University with R&D/teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc. + Ph.D. NOTE: PhD in the relevant subject shall be treated equivalent to three years experience. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Additional Post doctoral research / training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute(s). 2. Knowledge of Computer Applications/Data Management.
