SMVDU M.Sc. (Biotechnology) Admission Notice
School of Biotechnology, SMVDU shall be admitting students (10 Seats) to the M.Sc. (Biotechnology) program under the prestigious DBT Supported Program wherein the selected students will be eligible for a stipend of Rs. 5000/- per month as per DBT & University rules. Candidate desirous of seeking admission to the M.Sc.(Biotechnology) program, under this scheme, will be admitted based on the Rank obtained in the GRADUATE APTITUDE TEST-BIOTECHNOLOGY (GAT-B) 2025 conducted by Regional Centre for Biotechnology on behalf of the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
The list of examination centers, details of examination, important dates, marking scheme and syllabus and eligibility criteria for admission to SMVDU is available at https://rcb.res.in/DBTPG/.
The aspiring candidates will also be required to fill the On-line Application Form of SMVDU in the prescribed format at https://www.smvdu.ac.in. No application fee shall be charged from the applicants for filling the SMVDU Application Form.
Only SELECTED candidates shall have to pay the Admission Form Fees at the time of Admission. Only those candidates, who have successfully submitted the Application Form at SMVDU for admission based on GAT-B 2025 Rank, will be considered for admission to the M.Sc. (Biotechnology) program for DBT Supported seats.
