Delhi HC directs expedited decision on Er. Rashid bail application
he Delhi High Court today heard the petition concerning the case of incarcerated Baramulla MP Engineer Rashid.
Speaking on the proceedings, AIP Chief Spokesperson Inam Un Nabi stated, “The High Court petition was withdrawn as the Hon’ble High Court has already passed an order on the administrative side that the trial will continue before the same trial court judge (Special NIA Court, Patiala House Court, New Delhi).”
However, the High Court also directed the trial court judge to decide Engineer Rashid’s bail application at the earliest.
Advocate Vikhyat Oberoi, along with a team of lawyers, was present during the proceedings, representing Engineer Rashid.
