All Government, Private Schools Closure Order in Various Districts
All Educational Institutes to Remain Shut in Kishtwar, Gurez
Amid incessant rains, authorities have ordered for shutting down of all educational institutions in Kishtwar district, and Gurez area in Bandipora district.
As learnt by news agency, the measure has been taken to ensure safety of the students and educational staffers.
Earlier, the district administration Ramban also ordered for closure of all government and private schools for the day.
The decision to close the educational institutions comes as rains continue to lash Jammu and Kashmir over last several days, exposing the people to threat of floods and landslides.

District administration Ramban on Saturday ordered for closure of all government and private schools for the day amid unrelenting rains.
As learnt by news agency Kashmir Bulletin said that in a bid to ensure safety of the students and teachers alike, the district administration has ordered for closure of all educational institutions today.
Notably, Jammu and Kashmir has been witnessing widespread rains over last several days, with the MeT office having predicted the continuation of weather vagaries at least till tomorrow.
