Engagement of candidates as Senior Resident/Tutor/Demonstrator on Academic Arrangement Basis under S.O-364 in various disciplines of Government Medical College Anantnag.

Name of the Posts :

On the basis of merit list issued from this office vide notification dated 09.05.2025, the candidates figuring in the selection list annexed as Annexure ‘A’ to this order are hereby engaged as Senior Resident/Tutor/Demonstrator in various disciplines of Government Medical College, Anantnag on Academic Arrangement basis under S.O-364 of 2020 dated 27.11.2020 initially for a period of one (01) year which is extendable upto (03) years on the basis of good performance to be certified by the concerned Head of the
Department.

Terms and conditions :

1. The above candidates shall have to execute an agreement with the institution on prescribed format (Form A of SO 364) with regard to the various terms and conditions applicable during academic arrangement. The candidates shall strictly ensure that they
shall not leave the post (College) before the completion of tenure of six months, however abandoning/terminating after six months of the engagement in the specialty will require one-month prior notice on either side falling which the salary shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall be released on completion of stipulated sanctioned term.

2. Before joining the Department, the selected candidates shall submit an undertaking in the office of the Registrar Academics, Govt. Medical College Anantnag duly attested by the Judicial Magistrate (1st Class) to the effect that:

a. I shall be bound by all the terms and conditions set out in the agreement (Form A of SO 364) duly executed by me.

b. If the information furnished by me in the application form is found wrong at any point of time, I shall be liable to be punished under rules including confiscation of the Registration of the Doctor.

c. I will not participate in any kind of strike during the period of my tenure engagement. In the event I proceeded on strike, my tenure engagement shall be terminated without any notice as this service is covered under ESMA Act.

d. I shall remain disciplined during the tenure period; any kind of misconduct shall make me llable for termination without any prior notice.

e. I am not involved in any criminal activity nor is there is any FIR/Court case pending/registered against me in any criminal department or police station/Hon’ble Court.

f. My engagement is strictly provisional till the recipient of verification of documents/ testimonials and verification report for character and antecedents from CID. In case adverse report is received from CID, J&K, I shall not claim for engagement which shall be deemed to have been cancelled ab-initio.
