Recruitment in Govt. Dental College, Srinagar
On line applications from the domicile of Union Territory of J&K are invited from the Dental Graduates who have completed their internship from the recognized Dental Institutions and have valid registration with the Dental Council for the tenure post of full-time House Surgeons for a period of “ONE YEAR” on consolidated stipend as per norms in the following disciplines against the likely vacancies due to completion of tenure by the existing batch (annual) as shown below or any vacancy that may arise within three months from the date of issuance of merit list as such:-

The application process shall be completed/ submitted in the ONLINE mode only. In this regard, applicants may visit the official website of this institution (www.gdcsrinagar.org) or they can apply via link https://jobs.gdcsrinagar.org for submission of their application forms. The applicants are advised to upload the following documents duly self-attested. The applicants are also advised to upload the fee receipt after depositing fee in any J&K Bank Branch.
The link for online application shall be available from 20th May, 2025 to 4th June, 2025 upto 03:00PM.

13 Undertaking in the shape of Affidavit duly attested by the 1st Class Magistrate stating that he/she has not done House Job in any Institution (in any specialty) and shall not involve himself/herself in any strike.
14 Aadhaar Card.
15 Merit Certificate (If any).
16 Certificate of Prizes, Medals, Honors, National Scholarship, Awards etc (If any).
17 Certificate of Extra-curricular activities/Sports, if any issued by the Competent authority(if any).
NOTES:
I. The date for examination of House Job shall be notified separately and shall also be available on official website of this institution (www.gdcsrinagar.org).
II. The requisite fee for House Job is Rs.500/-for each specialty.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
The engagement of House Surgeons shall be subject to the following terms and conditions:-
1. The competent authority reserves the right of any amendment, cancellation and modification to this advertisement as a whole or in part without assigning any reason or giving notice.
2. The selection shall be made on the procedure prescribed by the Government for assessment of merit of the applicants in accordance with the Government Order No. 706-HMER of 2007, dated: 11.01.2007 followed by Government Order No. 726-HMER of 2007, dated: 23.10.2007 read with Corrigendum to Government Order No.726- HME of 2007, dated:23.10.2007 issued under endorsement No. ME-GM- 130/2006, dated: 25.04.2012.
3. The Selection of House Surgeons in Govt. Dental College, Srinagar shall be in order of preference as given hereunder:
a. Students of Dental Graduates from Govt. Dental College, Srinagar will be preferred for House Job posts.
b. Dental Graduates from Govt. Dental College, Srinagar who have not done House Job earlier (fresh batch) will be preferred first.
c. Fresh batch of Dental Graduates from Govt. Dental College, Srinagar will always be preferred first for branch allocations.
d. Dental Graduates other than Govt. Dental College, Srinagar but domicile/ residents of UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
e. The list of students of other Colleges for House job posts will start after the last student of the college even if the merit of the student of other college is higher.
f. No student will be given house job for more than one year duration.
4. The applicant who is interested to apply for more than one specialty shall have to apply for each specialty giving the orders of preference specialty-wise.
5. Application form deficit of any of the above certificates will not be entertained.
6. The House Surgeons will be whole timer and will be non-practicing.
7. Doctors who have already done House Job or left mid-way need not to apply.
8. No TA or DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing for the written Examination.
9. The applicants are required to submit hard copy (Original) of an uploaded affidavit duly attested by the 1st Class Magistrate in this Institution at the time of examination.
10. The House Surgeons selected in various departments in addition will be put on Emergency duties in the Hospital on rotational basis as per the roaster issued by Head of Department Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, Govt. Dental College & Hospital, Srinagar.
11. No experience certificate shall be issued if the candidate does not complete his/her tenure.
12. The online acceptance of application form of the candidates may be provisional, subject to verification of their original certificates/testimonials and candidature if at any stage the certificates were found incorrect/fake, their candidature will be cancelled ab-initio.
