ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE FOR ENGAGEMENT OF CANDIDATES ON NEED BASED ACADEMIC ARRANGEMENT FOR DEGREE COLLEGES OF JAMMU & KASHMIR FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2025-26
Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Lecturers/Teaching Assistants/PTIs/Librarians on need based academic arrangement in Degree Colleges of UT of Jammu and Kashmir for the Academic Session 2025-26.

Important Dates :
Candidates need to apply through the online portal https://jkaa.directorcollegesjk.in which shall open on 25th of June 2025
at 10 AM and close on 10th of July 2025 at 5 PM .
The process of engagement of faculty on Need Based Academic Arrangement basis for Govt Degree Colleges and Autonomous institutions will be carried out by respective Nodal Principals via the Centralised Portal giving choice to the candidates to apply either in Jammu Division or Kashmir Division or in both divisions
No physical application will be accepted and all applicants have to submit the online application complete in all respects including attachments and online processing fee by or before the given deadlines.
Applicants should submit the online application at an earliest without waiting for the last date in their own interest.
The need based engagement shall be made in the following subjects as detailed here under :
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION(S) :
a) Lecturer/ Librarians / PTI :
Master’s degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Differently abled) with NET/SET/SLET or Ph.D.
b) Teaching Assistant :
Master’s degree in relevant subject with at least 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Differently abled).
The criteria for eligibility, selection, remuneration and the engagement of the candidates for the academic session 2025-26 shall be strictly as per the Government Order No: 137-JK(HE) of 2024, Dated: 01.03.2024. (Order copy available on the portal). Candidates are advised, in their own interest, to go through the order before submitting the online form.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
Detailed manual for online application filling and submission will be available at the portal jkaa.directorcollegesjk.in before 25th June 2025. Applicants are advised to go through the manual for hassle free submission of online application forms.
● The following documents are required to be uploaded on the portal :
○ Recent Photograph, Domicile Certificate, DOB Certificate, Aadhar Card, Category/ Disability Certificate (if Applicable), Graduation
Marks Certificate, PG Marks Certificate, Equivalence Order of HED.(if required), NET/SLET/SET/JRF Certificate, M.Phil. Certificate, Ph.D. Certificate, Experience Certificate(s)
● Applicants have to enter their personal information, qualifications, experience and college preferences on the online portal.
● Candidates need to submit their choice of the Division they want to apply for on the Centralised Portal. Candidates can apply for
engagement either in Jammu Division or Kashmir Division or in both divisions.
● Application form fee is Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) and is to be paid online via integrated payment gateway.
● After successful form Submission, fee payment and subsequent verification of Credentials/Documents, the candidates will have to login
