ICPS Government Recruitment for District Child Protection Officers in 10 Districts, J&K

Department of ICPS invites eligible candidate for walk in interview for filling up the post of District Child Protection Officers on contractual basis for District Child Protection Units (one in each District) in the office of Mission Director ICPS, Haj House 3′d Floor Rail Head, Jammu for the dates shown against each

Eligibility

Masters degree in Social Work (M A. Social Work or MSW) Psychology or Sociology from a recognized University or a degree in Law either three years or integrated five years.

Substantial experience (minimum 7 years) in Social Service preference will be given to candidates with strong background in Child Protection Sectors, Managerial expel iences within Child Protection Sector will be an assets for this aspiring candidates only those candidates shall apply, who are in the age group of 30-40 as on 1-1-2017.

Candidates are required to demonstrate through interview/testimonials, strong communications, networking and integrated programming skills in Child Protection Sector. Experience of Managing a team will be an advantage for the candidates.

Candidates desirous of being considered for the post must bring original documents in order to prove their academic, domicile and experience No affidavit shall be entertained in lieu of these documents. The candidates shall be considered for their homes District. In case candidates from a specific District are not available preference shall be given to the candidates belonging to adjacent Districts. The selection of the candidates will be based on relevant academic qualification, experience and the aptitude (including knowledge, skills and attitude) with ability to lead the District Child Protection Units as per job description mentioned in this advertisement notice

The candidates finally recommended for appointment shall be engaged on contractual basis on a consolidated remuneration Rs. 33250/- (Rs. thirty-three thousand, two hundred and fifty only) per months.

The mere calling the interview/appearing in the walk in interview does not entitled any candidate for selection.

Candidates can request advance registration for walk-in interview through an e-mail on com. Candidates need to submit an application for an advance slot for interview along with the scan copy o their academic and other credentials. Only those candidates will be allotted an advance interview slot who fulfil the eligibility and attach a CV application (detaining why they think they are suitable for the post) along with the scan copy of academic and proof related to relevant experience.
