GMC Srinagar Implementation of curricula in all the Universities / Deemed Universities/Allied Health Care Institutions UT of J&K

NOTICE

For purpose of further wide dissemination of information in UT of J&K and pursuant necessary action by all concerned the public notification from National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions, F. No. Z/58/2024-AHS-DOHFW DEPARTMENT Dated: 24.04.2025 is hereby being recirculated (Copy attached), wherein it has been stated :

‘The commission has approved the curricula for the following professions scheduled under NCAHP Act,2021:

1) Anesthesia and Operation Theatre Technology
2) Applied Psychology and Behavioural Health
3) Dialysis Therapy Technology & Dialysis Therapy
4) Health Information Management
5) Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology
6) Nutrition and Dietetics
7) Optometry
8) Physician Associates
9) Physiotherapy
10) Radiotherapy Technology

All the institutions imparting education in these professions may adopt these curriculums from academic session 2025-26. However, these curriculums are to be mandatorily implemented from the academic session 2026-27 onwards.’

The above mentioned competency based curricula, comprehensively complete with all details are available on official website of National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions (NCAHP), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India (https://ncahp.abdm.gov.in/) for perusal, record and necessary complete implementation as directed by NCAHP by all concerned
– including institutions imparting education in these professions in the UT of J&K.
