Frontier Research Institute of Interdisciplinary Sciences (FRIIS) invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the PM-ECRG Scheme. The selected candidate will work on the research project: “PDAC Tumor Cells Evade CD8 T Cell Cytotoxicity via NLRC5-Mediated Downregulation of MHC-I Pathway.”
Name of the Position : Junior Research Fellow
Monthly emoluments : Rs. 37,000+HRA ( HRA as per university guidelines)
Eligibility :
Essential qualification: Postgraduate Degree in Biochemistry/Biotechnology, Clinical Biochemistry/Microbiology/Bioinformatics selected through any one of the following:
a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) and GATE.
b) The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies
and institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISC, IISER, NISER etc
Desirable : Candidates having expertise in Tissue culture/Genome Editing/ Mice handling will be preferred
Duration Initially for a period of one (01) year extendable based on performance and subject to the availability of funds
