Recruitment in University of Kashmir
Applications are invited from motivated, innovative and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (1) to work on the project titled as “Deep Learning Applications for Automated Post-Harvest Saffron Processing, Grading and Sorting” funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.
The selected candidate would work in the project for a period of one year initially and can be extended up to three years based on yearly performance
Name of the Position : Junior Research Fellow
Essential Qualifications :
• M.C.A./M.tech in Computer Science or equivalent
• Qualified NET or GATE
The candidate should have qualified for NET/GATE or other accredited tests. In case of non-availability/non-suitability of
NET/GATE qualified candidates, non-NET/GATE candidates will be considered with emoluments as per the funding agency
rules.

The filled application form (Performa attached with advertisement) along with CV and scanned copy of the testimonials should be mailed to the Principal Investigator and the hard copies to be submitted in the Office of Computer Sciences Department, University of Kashmir

Note :
1. The position is purely temporary. The appointment will be initially for one year and extendable up to three years based on the yearly performance.
2. At the time of joining, the selected candidate has to produce all relevant documents/testimonials in original for verification. Failing this, the University will offer the position to next candidate on the merit list prepared for this purpose.
3. The University reserves the right to withdraw the post at any time.
Screening & Interview Process :
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merit and as per the requirements of the project.
Mere qualification of eligibility criteria does not guarantee shortlisting.
The date, time, and venue of the interview will be intimated to short-listed candidates via email.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. Candidates who are already employed should produce a ‘No
Objection Certificate’ (NOC) from the present employer.
