Memorandum Regarding Temporary positions in SKUAST Jammu
The engagement shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:-
The engagement shall purely be temporary, time bound; non-regular on academic arrangement basis and the contractual appointee shall not be entitled to any claim of absorption/regular appointment in the University/continuation of service beyond the time stipulated herein.
The engagement shall initially be for one academic semester extendable for one more (next semester) on the basis of performance during Academic Session 2025-26 depending upon satisfactory work and conduct performance of the appointee as well as the availability of the funds.
The appointee before joining shall have to execute an legal agreement with the Dean FBSc, SKUAST Jammu Chatha (a constituent of the university) on the prescribed format appended duly attested by the First Class Magistrate.
The engagement of appointee shall be terminable before the expiry of the specified period with one month’s salary in lieu of notice by the appointing authority/or the engaged teacher, as the case may be.
The work and conduct of the appointee shall be monitored, if found unsatisfactory, the service
The appointee shall have to report within 21 days from the issue of the order to Prof. & Head, Division of Statistics & Computer Science, FBSc failing which the appointment shall be treated as cancelled automatically.
