Advertisement notice no: -08 of 2023 dated 04-05-2023 read with Addendum \ Vide No. GMCUDH/2023-24/143 dated 09.05.2023.
Order No: 18 of GMCU, 2025 Dated: 31.07.2025.
Whereas, the Government Medical College Udhampur advertised 05 posts of lab. Technician at SNo.03 of Advertisement notice 08 of 2023 dated 04-05-2023 issued under endorsement no. GMC/UDH/2023-24/134 dated 04-05-2023.
Whereas, this office issued Addendum to the advertisement for the 30 posts of Junior Staff Nurse vide No. GMC/UDH/2023-24/143 dated 09.05.2023.
Whereas, MCQ based written test was conducted for this post on 18.08.2024.
Whereas, based on the marks obtained in the MCQ based written test and after implementation of relevant reservation rules amended from time to time, the Provisional selection list of Junior Staff Nurse and Lab. Technician is enclosed as Annexure A and Provisional waiting list of Junior Staff Nurse and Lab. Technician is enclosed as Annexure B.
However, as per the advertisement and rules of engagement the candidates are provisionally selected on Academic Arrangement basis initially for a period of one year which can be extended to a maximum of six year based on the performance and good conduct.
However, Engagement of the provisionally selected candidates shall be subject to the following conditions,
1. That the candidate shall submit their joining report in the office of Principal Government Medical College Udhampur within two weeks (by 5:00pm) from the date of issuance of this notification.
2. That they shall submit an affidavit duly attested by first class magistrate to the effect that:
i. He/she is not involved in any criminal activity and there is no FIR pending against him in any Criminal Department or police station.
ii. He /she shall not leave GMC, Udhampur before the completion of one year.
iii. He/she will not participate in any kind of strike during the period of his/her contract.
iv. He/she shall remain disciplined during the contract period and any kind of misconduct shall make him/her liable for termination without any prior notice.
1. Salary will be disbursed only after the proper CID Verification of the candidates.
2. The provisionally selected candidates shall report to the office of Principal GMC, Udhampur along with original documents (All academic and technical qualification certificates, domicile, category certificate, character certificate, Date of birth certificate etc.) at the time of joining. If any discrepancy found in the documents the candidature shall be rejected.
3. No experience certificate shall be issued if he/she leaves or fails to serve his/her duties for at least six months.
4. The engagement is initially for one-year extendable up to six years subject to good performance and conduct or till selection/promotion is made in accordance with the rules of recruitment governing the respective posts whichever earlier. The extension so granted shall not be beyond a period of six years under any circumstances.
5. The selection shall be purely on academic arrangement only without conferment of any preferential rights on the engages for regular appointment against these posts which shall be made strictly in accordance with the relevant recruitment rules.
6. The result is completely provisional and not subject to the outcome of any writ petition before any court.
The selection list is completely provisional and objections if any shall be submitted to Principal Government Medical College, Udhampur in person or through E-mail: [email protected] within two weeks (by 5.00pm) for its disposal. No claim shall be entertained after two weeks from the date of issuance of this notification
