Provisional/Final Selection List of candidates for Admission under Lateral Entry system in 3rd semester in Govt./Private polytechnics of J&K and Ladakh colleges for the year 2025 and for Working Professionals in Royal Polytechnic Srinagar.
Notification No.- 44 BOTE of 2025 Dated: 07-08-2025
In pursuance of Notification No. 35 of 2025 dated 02-07-2025, those candidates who have applied online for the admission in three years diploma programmes under Lateral Entry System in 3rd semester in the various polytechnics of UT of J&K and UT of Ladakh and for Working Professionals only in Royal Polytechnic Srinagar. Provisional Merit List of candidates for admission under Lateral Entry System was issued for inviting objections if any therein, vide this office Notification No. 43-BOTE of 2025 dated 02-08-2025. The objections received by this office from the candidates before prescribed date and time have been incorporated in the provisional merit list, wherever found genuine. In view of the above, the candidates as per their merit-cum preferences are hereby provisionally selected for the admission during the year – 2025 under lateral entry system in 3rd semester in accordance with the Annexure “A” to this notification and available on website of JKBOTE i.e. www.jksbotelive.com . The provisionally selected candidates are directed to report the respective allotted polytechnics w.e.f. 07- 08-2025 to 14-08-2025 along with the following documents in original:-
1. Marks Card of 10th class.
2. Marks Card of 12th class with pass in Physics/ Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship Physics, Chemistry and Math. (for those students who have selected on the Basis of 10+2)
3. Technical certificates (ITI/Poly) (for those students who have selected on the Basis of ITI)
4. Domicile Certificate
5. Category Certificate, if any
6. Any other certificate / document as required by the Coiiege/Institution.
The candidates are advised to report to the allotted polytechnics up to 13-08-2025 positively It shall be sole responsibility of the Polytechnics concerned to ensure proper check and verification of documents/ eligibility before the candidate is allowed for admission in 3rd semester under Lateral Entry System and in case of any discrepancy in the requisite documents; the same shall be reported to the Board for further course of action under rules. In order to, complete admission process within the prescribed cut-off date i.e.13-8-2025 the Principal Polytechnics are requested to designate Nodal Officers to facilitate the candidates to complete their admission process well in time.
In case of In-service candidate for Lateral entry admission: the In-service candidate must submit permission at the time of admission from the concerned HOD. Two years study leave and NOC from the concerned Administrative Department submitted within one month from the dispatch of the admission notification.
In case of Working Professionals: The Working professional candidates must submit the following documents in addition to the above mentioned documents in original
a. Minimum of one Year Full time / Regular working Experience.
b. Professionals working in Registered Industry / Organization (Central / State) / Private/ Public Limited Company/ MSMEs located within 50 KM radial distance from the Institute.
Further all the Principals of Govt. /Private Polytechnics are advised to fill up the leftover/vacant seats for Lateral Entry admission in 3rd semester (full time) for the year 2025 at institution level in accordance with the conditions as stated above.
