It is hereby notified for information of all concerned candidates who appeared in the written test held on 31 – 08 – 2017 for the of post of Junior Assistant in response to advertisement notice No. 0 5 of 2017 dated: 05 – 05 – 2017, that the revised result of the written test and the list of candidates shortlisted for interview is available below . The date of interview shall be notified separately.

Whereas, online applications were invited for the post of Junior Assistant advertised vide advertisement notice No. 05 of 2017 dated: 05 – 05 – 2017 wherein 868 candidates applied online and 652 candidates submitted their hard copies of application forms. The last date for submission of online application form was 07 – 06 – 2017.

Whereas, the application forms were scrutinized by a committee constituted by the University who declared 643 can didates eligible / provisionally eligible and 10 candidates ineligible out of 652 candidates. The report of the screening committee was notified and uploaded on the University website vide No. IUST/Reg/Adm/17/5842 dated: 03 – 08 – 2017 and the concerned candid ates were accordingly asked to submit discrepancies / deficient documents (if any) upto 10 – 08 – 2017 failing which, no claim, whatsoever, shall be entertained. The deficient documents / discrepancies submitted by the candidates were further scrutinized by the screening committee and the report of the committee was accordingly incorporated in the list of applicants. In all out of 643 candidates, 537 appeared in the type test (on computer key board).

Whereas, 165 candidates were declared qualified on the basis of the type test (on Computer key board) held on 19 th and 20 th August 2017 which was notified for information of all the concerned candidates vide No.IUST/Reg/Adm/17/6132 dated: 11 – 08 – 2017. Out of 165 candidates, 163 candidates appeared in the written test held on 31 – 08 – 2017 .
