Expression of Interest (EOI) for Empanelment of External Editors and Proof Readers

The Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture & Languages (JKAACL) invites applications from qualified and experienced individuals for Empanelment as External Editors and Proof Readers for publication of Sheeraza journal in Bhaderwahi Group of Languages (Bilingual edition in Hindi & Urdu) and in Shina.

Eligibility Criteria for Bhaderwahi Group of Languages:

Editors (Bhaderwahi Group – Hindi/Urdu):

* Essential: Ph.D. in Hindi and/or Urdu with proven expertise/contribution in book/journal editing in the concerned language/dialect.

* Desirable: Knowledge of computers.

Proof-Readers (Bhaderwahi Group – Hindi/Urdu):

* Essential: M.A. in Hindi and/or Urdu with proven expertise/ contribution in book/journal proofreading in the concerned language/ dialect.

* Desirable: Knowledge of computers.

Eligibility Criteria for Shina:

Editors (Shina):

* Essential: Ph.D. in Urdu with proven expertise/contribution in book/journal editing in the concerned language/dialect.

* Desirable: Knowledge of computers.

Proof-Readers (Shina):

* Essential: M.A. in Urdu with proven expertise/contribution in book/journal proof-reading in the concerned language/dialect.

* Desirable: Knowledge of computers.

Key Details:

* Scope of Work: Editing and proof-reading of the annual publication as per JKAACL guidelines.

* Empanelment Period: Three years, extendable as per requirement.

* Age Limit: Below 60 years.

* Remuneration: As per approved rates of JKAACL/Sahitya Akademi, New Delhi.
