Applications are invited from eligible and desirous candidates for a walk-in -interview for the temporary positions of Assistant Professors on academic arrangement basis in the Faculty of Dairy Technology, on 22-09-2025.

The particulars for the posts are given below :

Essential qualification : 

1. Master’s degree in Dairy Business Management/Dairy Economics

OR

2. Master’s degree in Agricultural Economics/Agri Business Management/ Veterinary & Animal Husbandry Extension
Education
OR

3. Candidate (s) having Ph.D. degree in concerned disciplines as listed above under point 1 and 2 criteria shall also be
eligible in case, he/she doesn’t have the eligibility qualification specified above at master’s level.

Consolidated wages will be Rs 35,000/per month for Master’s and Rs 45,000 for Ph.D. candidates

The Interview shall be conducted on 22-09-2025 at 11.00 AM in the office of Dean, Faculty of Dairy Technology, SKUAST-J, R.S Pura 181102, Jammu (J&K). The application form complete in all respect along with attested copies of the certificates and accompanied with Demand Draft of Rs 300/- drawn in favour of Dean, Faculty of Dairy Technology, payable at R.S. Pura should be deposited in the office at the time of interview. An advance copy of application form along with a brief resume must be emailed at [email protected]

Terms and conditions for academic arrangement are as under:

1. The engagement shall be purely on contract basis.

2. No legal right to claim his/her regularization/ appointment by absorption or otherwise against any regular post in the University would be entertained. In event of the relinquishing of the engagement one month notice is essential.

3. The appointment is for one semester or till the sanctioned posts are filled through recruitment process by the Competent Authority, whichever is earlier. The extension for one more semester may be granted subject to satisfactory performance of the contractee and availability of the funds and requirement of the faculty.

4. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.

5. The contractual positions advertised herein can be withdrawn at any stage as per the decision of the University.
