JK High Court Interview Notice
Short-Listing of the Candidates for Interview/ Viva-Voce, who had applied for the vacant/anticipated positions of Research Assistant,
advertised pursuant to Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2025/RR/RC Dated 11.08.2025.
1. Pursuant to the Advertisement Notification No. 04 of 2025/RR/RC dated 11.08.2025, online applications were invited from all the eligible candidates for filling up of vacant/anticipated positions of Research Assistants.
2. Whereas, in response to the said notification, 232 applications were received. As it was not feasible to conduct the interview of such large number of candidates, the matter regarding short-listing of candidates for interview/viva-voce, was, accordingly, with the approval of the Competent Authority, placed before the Hon’ble Committee for Appointment of Oath Commissioners and Research Assistants.
3.Whereas, the aforementioned Hon’ble Committee, while deliberating on the issue, had resolved and recommended
that the candidates be called for interview/viva-voce in the ratio of 1:5, to be determined on the basis of the merit secured by them in the academic qualification of Law.
4. Whereas, the recommendations of the Hon’ble Committee for Appointment of Oath Commissioners and Research Assistants, having been approved by Hon’ble the Chief Justice, the following candidates whose names and registration numbers have been mentioned in Annexure-A and B, to this notification are hereby informed that the interview/viva-voce of candidates belonging to Jammu Division, for engagement as Research Assistant, shall be conducted on 29th and 30th of September, 2025, at High Court Complex, Jammu
and the interview/viva-voce of candidates belonging to Kashmir Division, shall be conducted on 6th and 7th of October, 2025 at High Court Complex, Srinagar, as shown in Annexure-A and B.
Further, it is also informed that :
a) The candidates are required to produce sufficient proof of their identity in the form of Aadhar Card or Pan Card or DL or Passport or any document of like nature at the time of interview;
b) The candidates shall have to report two (2) hours prior to their interview (i.e., Reporting Time is 2:00 p.m, for those candidates having Interview at 4:00 p.m and reporting time is 11:00 a.m for those candidates having Interview at 1:00 p.m), along with
all original certificates/testimonials including their application forms, qualification certificates, domicile certificate etc., before the Interview Committee at the time of their interview, along with self-attested
photocopies of the same.
c) Any candidate who fails to produce his/her original certificates/testimonials may forfeit his/her candidature;
d) Only those shortlisted candidates shall be allowed to appear in the interview who fulfill all the notified eligibility requirements;
e) Mere figuring of name and registration number of a candidate in the shortlist may not entitle him/her to appear in the interview, which shall be subject to the scrutiny of all testimonials of the shortlisted candidates;
No individual call letters shall be issued to the candidates whose names and registration numbers figure in Аппехиres- “A” and “B” to this Notification; g) In the event of any deficiency found at the time of interview with reference to the eligibility of any
candidate, such candidate may not be allowed to appear in the interview;
h) No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates appearing in the interview.
