Vacancy Details:
The Department of Mathematics, University of Jammu has announced one vacancy for the post of Junior Research Fellow under a SERB funded project. The appointment is temporary, time bound and purely on contractual basis.
Important Dates :
Date of Notification : 20 September 2025
Applications must be submitted within 15 days from the date of advertisement to the Department of Mathematics, University of Jammu.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about the date of interview through email or contact number provided in the application form.
Eligibility Criteria:
The essential qualification required is M.Sc. in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics with at least 6.5 CGPA or first class marks from a recognized university.
NET or GATE qualification is desirable. Non NET or non GATE candidates will be considered if suitable candidates are not available. The maximum age limit is 28 years with relaxation of up to 5 years for SC, ST, OBC, women and differently abled candidates.

Interested applicants must submit their applications with complete details including contact number to the office of the Principal Investigator, Department of Mathematics, University of Jammu within 15 days from the date of advertisement.
Selection Process :
The selection will be based on interview. Eligible candidates will be informed about the date of interview. Applicants must bring original documents at the time of interview. No TA or DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
