The Bharat Electronics (BEL) has announced a notification for the recruitment of Trainee Engineer I Vacancy. Eligible Candidates who are interested in the vacancy details & completed all eligibility criteria can read the notification & Apply.
Application Fee
For UR,EWS,OBC Candidates : Rs.177/- (Rs.150/- + 18% GST)
For Candidates belonging to SC, ST and PwBD categories : NIL
Candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting Application Fee and submitting the application.
Fee once paid will not be refunded by the Company/Bank to candidates.

Age Limit (as on 01-09-2025)
The age limit should be not more than 28 years for General & EWS candidates.
The upper age limit will be relaxable for OBC (NCL) candidates by 03 years and SC/ST candidates by 05 years.
For candidates belonging to PwBD category having minimum 40% disability or more will get 10 years relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.
SSLC/SSC/ISC mark card and any other valid document will be considered as proof of date of birth.
Qualification :
BE/ B.Tech/ B.Sc. Engineering (04 years course) with Pass Class from recognized Institute/University/College in the following Engineering disciplines – Electronics / Mechanical / Computer Science / Electrical.
Salary
Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs.30,000/- per month for the 1st year, Rs.35,000/- per month for 2nd year and in the event of extension of contract, the remuneration shall be Rs.40,000/- per month for 3 rd year.
Selection Process :
The candidates meeting the qualifying criteria and whose online applications have been accepted will be provisionally shortlisted for the Written Test.
Candidates who meet the qualifying criteria and whose online applications are accepted will be sent an SMS and e-mail.
They are required to log on to the BEL website and enter their credentials to access and download their Call Letter for Written Test.
Candidates are required to print the call letter and comply with the instructions indicated therein. Please note that call letters will not be sent through e-mail or through conventional mail.
Candidates, whose applications are accepted through the process of submission of online applications, are eligible to attend the written test at Bangalore
PwBD candidates (as mentioned at Para. 9.0(e)) are eligible for compensatory time of 20 minutes per hour.
The selections for the post of Trainee Engineer shall be through Written Test and candidates shall be selected in the order or merit i.e. category-wise & discipline wise.
The written test will be conducted for duration of 90 minutes comprising of 85 Questions, consisting of Technical and General Aptitude Questions.
Each correct answer will fetch 01 mark and each wrong response will get negative mark of 0.25.
The result of the Written test will be uploaded on BEL website and Candidates qualifying in the Written Test will be called for Document Verification based on merit.
The Written Test will be at Bengaluru only

Online Link for Pre-Registration for attending Walk-in Selections will be available from 24.09.2025 to 07.10.2025.
The Candidates who have NOT registered online will not be allowed to appear for the Walk-In Selections
Candidates are required to fill the necessary fields in the online application form by accessing the URL Link provided on the website, pay the requisite fees (if applicable) and submit the application form.
Only one application should be submitted by a candidate for any particular post.
In case of multiple applications for one post by any candidate only the latest valid (completed) application of that candidate will be considered and retained as final application and the Application Fee & other charges paid for the other multiple application(s) will stand forfeited.
Candidates are required to read all the instructions given in the advertisement and enter all information correctly in the online application forms and verify the same before submission, as changes shall not be permitted after submission.
