Subject:- Contractual Engagement of Support Staff viz., A Stenographer and A Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) on Contractual Basis at Jammu & Kashmir International Arbitration Centre (JKIAC), Jammu advertised vide Advertisement No. 02/Coord/JKIAC dated 25.04.2025.

ORDER

Consequent upon the finalization of selection process and approval accorded by Hon’ble Chairperson, J&K International Arbitration Centre (JKIAC) to the recommendations of the Committee constituted for Contractual Engagement of Support Staff viz., 01 Stenographer and 01 Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) on Contractual Basis at JKIAC, Jammu advertised vide Advertisement no. 02/Coord/JKIAC dated 25.04.2025, Shri Gourav Vaid S/o Shri Ramesh Kumar Vaid R/o Ward No. 59, Paloura Jammu is hereby engaged as Stenographer on contractual basis and Shri Dharam Singh Sambyal S/o Sh. Kushal Dev Singh R/o Near M.E.S Filter Plant Sangoor, Udhampur is engaged as Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) on contractual basis at Jammu and Kashmir International Arbitration Centre, Jammu initially for a period of one year i.e., from the date of joining.

Note:- The Engagement will be completely on the terms and conditions enumerated herein below:

1. The candidates selected and engaged, shall join the office of Additional Coordinator, Jammu and Kashmir International Arbitration Centre, Jammu within a period of 07 days from the date of the issuance of this Order. In case the engaged candidate fails to join within the stipulated period, his appointment shall be deemed cancelled without any further notice.

2. The engagement of candidate, either as Steno or as MTS, shall purely be temporary in nature or shall not confer any right or entitlement to claim for regularization or permanent absorption/employment in the Jammu & Kashmir International Arbitration Centre, in any capacity, at any stage.

3. The candidate selected and engaged as Stenographer shall be paid a fixed monthly honorarium of Rs. 20000/- and no additional allowances shall be admissible.

4. The candidate selected and engaged as MTS shall be paid a fixed monthly honorarium of Rs. 12000/- and no additional allowances shall be admissible.

5. The expenditure shall be met from the usage charges collected by the Centre.

6. The engagement shall be initially for a period of one year, subject to satisfactory performance and may be extended at the discretion of the competent Authority.

7. The engaged candidates shall not be entitled to any other Govt. benefits such as pension, gratuity, or medical facilities.

8. The engaged candidates shall not undertake any other employment or professional practice that conflicts with his/her assigned duties.

9. All information and documents handled during the tenure must be kept confidential and shall not be disclosed outside without prior approval.

10. The candidates engaged shall be required to maintain discipline and adhere to the professional code of conduct as is warranted for the dignity and integrity of the institution.

11. The candidates engaged are expected to be punctual and shall diligently perform the duties entrusted to them. They must maintain the highest standards of professionalism in their conduct and work.

12. The candidates engaged can be disengaged at any stage, without any reason on account of disciplinary action, performance-related concerns or other administrative requirements, without any prior notice.

13. The engaged candidate may also resign by giving one month’s advance notice.

14. The competent authority reserves the right to modify the terms and conditions as required.

15. The engaged candidates shall submit an undertaking with regard to aforesaid terms and conditions and they shall also submit a character certificate at the time of joining.
