📌 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Must be Indian citizen OR as per rules (Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, etc. with eligibility certificate).

Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026):

Minimum: 21 years

Maximum: 30 years (Born between 2nd Jan 1996 and 1st Jan 2005)

Relaxations:

SC/ST: +5 years

OBC (NCL): +3 years

PwBD: +10 years

Govt. Servants, Ex-Servicemen: As per UPSC rules

Educational Qualification:

Degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/E&T) from a recognized University/Institution

Equivalent qualifications like AMIE, Sections A & B of Institution of Engineers (India), Graduate Membership of IETE, Aeronautical Society, etc. (with conditions mentioned in notice).

📌 Selection Process

Preliminary Exam (Objective) – 500 Marks

Paper I (General Studies & Engineering Aptitude) – 200 marks

Paper II (Engineering Discipline Specific) – 300 marks

Main Exam (Conventional) – 600 Marks

Paper I & II (Engineering Discipline – Descriptive)

Personality Test/Interview – 200 Marks

👉 Final Merit = (Prelims + Mains + Interview)

Prelims Centres: Across 40+ cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Jammu, Srinagar, etc.

Mains Centres: Major state capitals

📌 Application Fee

General/OBC/EWS (Male): ₹200/-

SC/ST/PwBD/Female: Exempted (No Fee)
