Appointment of candidates to the J&K Accounts Service under direct recruitment quota

Subject: Appointment of candidates to the J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service under direct recruitment quota through the Combined Competitive Examination, 2023.

Reference: Letter No. PSC/Exam/CCE(M)/2023/146 dated 13.08.2025 from the J&K Public Service Commission.

Government Order No. 1302-JK(GAD) of 2025, Dated: 06.10.2025

Pursuant to the selection made on the basis of the Combined Competitive Examination-2023 and as recommended by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission, sanction is accorded to the temporary appointment of the following candidates in the Jammu & Kashmir Accounts (Gazetted) Service in the pay level-B (47600-151100), with immediate effect:

  • Ms. Damini [PSP]
    D/o Arun Kumar Gupta
    R/o Ward No. 9 near Old Bus Stand, Rajouri.
  • Mr. Rohit Kumar [OM/PHC(L)]
    S/o Nank Chand
    R/o Ward No. 1, Village Jhullas, Haveli.

The appointees shall be on probation for two years, during which they shall undergo training and pass the prescribed Departmental Examination.

They must report to the Director General, Accounts and Treasuries, J&K, and will be allowed to join only upon producing original certificates:

  • Qualification Certificate
  • Date of Birth Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Relevant Category Certificate
  • Any other certificate required under rules.

Failure to join within 21 days will lead to cancellation of the appointment.

Salary will be released only after verification of certificates and submission of an affidavit (Annexure-I). If any document is found invalid, the appointment stands cancelled.

Candidates with self-employment loans (DIC/Employment Department) must relinquish proprietorship and repay loans via salary deductions.

For seniority purposes, they shall be deemed appointed w.e.f 28.04.2025 (date of earlier appointments under Govt. Order No. 527-JK(GAD) of 2025), but this will not carry any monetary benefit.

Appointment is subject to the outcome of writ petitions pending in court.

Annexure-I (Affidavit format):
Each candidate must declare that:

  • They appeared in CCE-2022 under a particular category and roll number.
  • Their name has been recommended by J&K PSC.
  • Verification reports of certificates are pending.
  • They will not claim the post if verification is adverse or documents are invalid.

Signed by the Deponent with verification statement.
