Online applications are invited from the eligible candidates of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for engagement against the below mentioned post on academic arrangement basis under S.O. 364 of 2020; Dated: 27.11.2020 for the Department of Clinical Psychology, (Psychiatry) Government Medical College, Srinagar initially for a period of one year extendable upto a maximum of 06 years (one year at a time and subject to good performance and conduct) or till the selection is made on regular basis by the competent authority whichever is earlier.

Eligibility :
Minimum Qualification/Minimum teaching experiencе :
Masters in Psychology or Clinical Psychology from a recognized University or Institute.
MPhil in Clinical Psychology/Medical & Social Psychology from a University recognized by RCI.
With 2 years teaching/Research experience as Senior Resident in the concerned subject/clinical psychology in an institute duly recognized by NMC/RCI
Terms & Conditions : –
1) The maximum age of the applicant at the time of submission of application must not be more than (67) years.
2) The selected candidates shall have to enter into an agreement with this institution that they will not leave the Department before the completion of the one-year’s contract. Abandoning/terminating of the engagement as case may be will require one month’s prior notice on either side, failing which the salary shall not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and the same shall be released only on completion of the sanctioned term.
3) In case of misconduct, indiscipline, unsatisfactory performance or any action detrimental to the interest of institute, the engagement of the candidate shall be terminated without prior notice.
4) No application of the in-service candidate shall be entertained by virtue of the existence of S.O. 364 of 2020; Dated: 27.11.2020.
5) The applications of those candidates shall be rejected who fail to upload any requisite requirements/documents/marks sheets etc., with their application formats.

c) Candidates are required to sign up before filling in the application form.
d) After logging into an account, candidates are required to fill in all the requisite fields of One Time Registration (OTR) i.e. personal information, contact information & educational Qualifications and uploading documents etc.
e) Candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following original certificates/documents. The size of Certificate/document must be less than or equal to 1024KB in PDF format only:
i. Date of Birth Certificate.
ii. Domicile certificate.
iii. Master’s degree in psychology or clinical psychology from a recognized University or Institute.
iv. MPhil in Clinical Psychology/Medical & Social Psychology degree certificate from a university recognized by RCІ.
V. RCI registration certificate.
vi. Teaching experience certificate as per eligibility criteria.
vii. Research Publications, if any.
viii. Proof of participation with oral presentation of papers, if any.
ix. Proof of participation with poster presentation of papers, if any.
x. Proof for writing a book or chapter of a book, if any.
xi. Proof of Gold Medal for 1st Position overall, if any. xii. Proof of having secured Distinction, if any.
xiii. Category Certificate, if any.
xiv. Affidavit duly attested from Judicial Magistrate stating that the incumbent is not in-service candidate.
