ADVERTISEMENT NOTICE
Pursuant to notification issued by J&K Nursing Council Vide Notification: – No. JKNC25/157 /2997-3005 Dated:- 08/10/2025 and JKNC-25/157 /3006-3014 Dated:- 08/10/2025, applications are invited on prescribed application form at Annexure “A” , for admission against the leftover seats in the below mentioned Nursing Programmes at Government B.Sc. Nursing College Srinagar for the Session 2025-26. Offline application forms complete in all respects may be submitted in the Office of the Principal Government B.Sc. Nursing College, Deewan Bagh Srinagar by or before 20th October 2025, against the payment of Rs200 /= to be deposited in the
College Account pay in slip attached with the Notification.
Eligibility Criteria :-
1.. The eligibility criteria for admission to above mentioned courses shall be strictly as per the eligibility conditions laid down by J&K Nursing Council, Government Health and Medical Education Department and as notified by J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination QKBOPEE) on its website for Session 2025-26 through various notification for admission to the aforementioned courses.
2. For B.Sc. Nursing, only those students who have appeared in the Entrance test conducted by J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination (JKBOPEE) for admission to B.Sc. Nursing Course for session 2025-26 shall be eligible.
3. For M.Sc. Nursing Admission, the merit shall be considered on aggregate merit basis in respect of regular B.Sc. Nursing and one year experience certificate.

2. 12th Class Marks Card
3. Domicile Certificate
4. Valid Category Certificate issued by Competent Authority
5. Proof of JKBOPEE Entrance Examination for B.Sc. Nursing Course
6. GNM Final year marks card for Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing
7. B.Sc. Nursing final year Marks Card and one year experience certificate for M.Sc. Nursing

NOTIFICATION
In pursuance of S.0 333 of 2024, Dated :- 13-06-2024 followed by Standard Operating Procedure(SOP’s) issued by Administrative Department of Health and Medical Education Vide No:- 378 JK(HME) of 2024, Dated: 13-06-2024,, it is hereby notified for the information of all Government and Private Institutions of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir that they shall invite the applications from eligible and desirous candidates for admission to left over seats for the courses which come under the recognized categories as per the schedule of National Commission for Allied and Healthcare Professions Act, 2021 of the session 2025-26.
The following terms and conditions shall govern the admission process :
1. Eligibility Criteria :
The concerned institutions shall strictly adhere to the eligibility criteria prescribed for admission to the respective courses, as determined by the Government Health and Medical Education Department and as notified by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance
Examination (JKBOPEE) on its official website for the session 2025-26.
2. Merit Formulation :
After inviting applications for admission in the courses as stated above, the institutions shall prepare a merit list strictly based on the aggregate marks obtained in the 10+2(12TH) with PCB examination.
3. Admission Deadline :
The last date for admission against the leftover seats shall be 10-11-2025. All institutions are required to conclude the admission well before the prescribed cut-off date.
4. Verification and Validation of Credentials :
Upon completion of the admission process, institutions shall forward the list of shortlisted candidates admitted against leftover seats to the State Allied and Healthcare Council, 3&K for verification of their eligibility. In the case any candidate is subsequently
found ineligible, his/her admission shall be deemed null and void ab-initio.
5. Registration and Verification Schedule :
The schedule for registration and verification of credentials of the candidates by the State Allied and Healthcare Council, J&K shall be notified separately through an official communiqué in due course of time.
6. Domicile of J&K
Only domicile of UT of Jammu and Kashmir be admitted against the seats.
