Applications are invited from eligible candidates for two positions of Research Assistant (02 positions) and Field Investigators (02 positions)in the project entitled “Socio-Political, Economic, Religious, and Cultural Transformations among the Gaddi and Bakarwal Tribes of Jammu and Kashmir” sanctioned by the “INDIAN COUNCIL OF SOCIAL SCIENCE RESEARCH”.
The positions are initially for a period of one year extendable for two more years depending upon the satisfactory performance of the candidate

Post graduate in social sciences/ humanities(55% minimum) with NET /M.Phil. / Ph.D.
Maximum Age – 28 years
Emoluments : 37,000
Name of the Post : Field Investigators
No . of Posts : 02
Eligibility :
Post graduate in social science/ humanities discipline with minimum 55% marks.
Maximum Age – 28 years
Emoluments : 20,000
Important Instructions :

2. Application should be accompanied by the photocopies of the qualification /experience certificates.
3. Interview: Eligible candidates will be informed about the date and venue of interview telephonically/through email. All applicants are required to bring their original documents on the date of interview. No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview. No separate interview letters will be issued.
4. Last date of submission of application: 10 days from the date of publishing of this advertisement in the newspaper.
5. Application must be filled and submitted in the given format (Annexure-C) and application submitted in any other format will be rejected.
6. The employment will be contractual and will be renewed after one year.
7. Renewal will be subject to performance appraisal of the candidate by the Project Coordinator. The decision of the Project Coordinator will be final in this regard.
8. The candidate shall have to produce the original documents relating to their age, qualifications, experience, and other claims what so ever before joining.
9. Photocopies of all the documents submitted by the candidate should be self-attested.
10. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee call for the interview and/or selection.
11. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
12. The provision of employment (contractual) to the candidate for this project does not create any liability, explicit or implicit, on the University.
