JK High Court Promotions

Promotion of Civil Judges (Junior Division) as Civil Judges (Senior Division) on Adhoc basis.

ORDER

After considering comparative seniority, vigilance report and performance of all Judicial officers falling in the consideration zone, evaluated in
terms of Rule 7 of the Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Judicial Service Rules, 2025, the following Civil Judges (Junior Division), are temporarily promoted as Civil Judges (Senior Division), on adhoc basis:
1. Ms. Maleeka Sharma;
2. Ms. Ananta Raina;
3. Shri Shabir Ahmad Malik;
4. Shri Altaf Ahmad Mir;
5. Ms. Meera Bangotra;
6. Ms. Assma Chowdhary;
7. Ms. Urvashi Raina;
8. Shri Anjeet Singh;
9. Ms. Suhasni Vasistha; and
10. Shri Tarun Mahajan.

The adhoc promotion shall be subject to the following conditions:

i) The adhoc promotion shall not confer any right of regular promotion or cla1m of seniority on regular basis. ·

ii)The adhoc promotion shall be reverted to the cadre of Civil Judges (Jr. Division), in case sufficient posts are not available for their promotion on regular basis.

iii) The adhoc promotion shall continue to work at their respective place of postings till their formal adjustment is made.
