Online applications are invited from eligible candidates belonging to Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for engagement as Medical officers on Academic Arrangement basis under S.O. 364 of 2020 Dated: 27-11-2020, on the terms and conditions listed below·

Eligibility Criteria :
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from an Institution duly recognized by the National Medical Commission.
Terms & Conditions :
Period : Initially for a period of one year or till the posts are filled up by the competent authority (whichever is earlier)
Salary : The engagee shall be paid salary at the minimum of pay scale in accordance with 5.0 364 of 2020 Dated: 27-11-2020
Engagement : The engagement against the advertised posts shall be governed as per 5.0. 364 of 2020 Dated: 27-11-2020 and shall always be on Academic Arrangement Basis without conferment of any preferential right for regular appointment against these posts which shall be made strictly accordance with the relevant recruitment rules
Agreement : The selected Candidates shall have to enter into an agreement with this institution to the effect
that they will not leave the job before the completion of one year’s contract. Abandoning/ termination of the agreement as the case may be will require one month’s prior notice on either side failing which the salary will not be paid for one month to the incumbent which shall always remain in deposit with the Department and shall be released on completion of sanctioned term.
Age : The Maximum age at the time of submission of application must be (50) years.
Mode of selection : The selection shall be made purely on the basis of merit obtained by the candidate in the MCQ based
written test.
Note :Â
1.) Candidates provisionally registered with National Medical Council/Medical Council of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible for recruitment as Medical Officer in Government Services.
2.) The candidate(s) must be in possession of all required document(s) and no document/certificate issued beyond the cutoff date shall be accepted/ entertained.
3.) The provisions of Reservation Act and Rules/Amendments made there in from time to time shall be followed in letter and spirit while making the selection.
4.) The benchmark for selection of candidate(s) shall be 40% marks and above in the written test.
