Applications on plain paper indicating name, father’s name, permanent address, address for correspondence, mobile number, date of birth, qualification starting from 10th & research or any other experience are invited from candidates for the position as detailed below in the adhoc research project entitled “Technological convergence for cultivation and chemical standards for quality control of Heeng (Ferula assa-foetida) in India”.
Post : Field Worker
Emoluments (Per Month) : Rs. 18000/- + HRA
Qualification :
Essential : Bachelor’s degree
Desirable :
• Masters in Forestry
• Research experience in the field of Medicinal plants
• Knowledge of computer
The application should reach the office of the Principal Investigator, Division of Forest Products & Utilization, Faculty of Horticulture & Forestry, Chatha. 180 009 (J&K) along with self attested copies of the certificates on or before 17-11-25.
The position is purely temporary to be filled on contractual basis initially for the period of 09 months, further extension shall be granted on the basis of performance of the appointee.
The engagement stands terminated on the completion of the project/scheme with no claim on the permanent absorption in this University.
The eligible candidates will be interviewed on 18-11-25 at Directorate of Research, Administrative Block, Chatha, Jammu at 10.30 a.m.
No separate intimation shall be issued & no TA/DA shall be paid for attending interview.
If the date of interview happens to be a holiday, the interview shall be held on the next working day.
