FOR INTRODUCTION TO HERITAGE COURSE

(Admission Notice)

In Pursuance to the Directorate of Skill Development Department, J&K’s communication No. DSD/401/Trgs/ 3161-75 dated: 03.11.2025, applications are invited from desirous candidates for seeking admission under “Chief Minister’s Scheme for Introduction to Heritage Course” – Basohli Painting at Government Polytechnic Jammu for the academic session 2025-26 commencing from 10th November, 2025. The candidates have to fill up the admission form available the website of this institution i.e www.govtpolytechnicjammu.edu.in. The last date for applying online is upto 8th November, 2025.

The details of the course/ trade is as under:-

Stipend:-

1. Stipend of Rs.1000/- per trainee/ month shall be provided for prescribed duration of the training.

2. The trainees shall be paid stipend through DBT mode.

Documents required:-

(Photo Copies duly self-attested)

1. Marks Certificates of 10th standard and higher qualification, if any.

2. Date of Birth Certificate (D.O.B)

3. Category Certificate (SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/ Physically Handicapped/ EWS) if any.

4. Aadhar Card

5. Domicile Certificate.

The candidates will be required to deposit the Application form in this office along with self attested photo copies of above mentioned required documents.

Important Note:-

1. Selection will be made purely on the basis of academic merit obtained by the applicants in Matriculation.

2. Training shall be imparted as per the CTS NSQF curriculum aligned at Level 3.5.

3. Examination shall be conducted through NCVET/ Board of Technical Education, J&K under SCVT Scheme.

4. Successful candidates shall be awarded with NTC/STC certificates.
