Eligibility Criteria :
Before applying, it is crucial to carefully check the eligibility requirements. Candidates must meet the educational, experience, and age criteria as of 21 November 2025.
Educational Qualification :
Candidates must have a Pass in VII Standard (7th Class).
For Operator (Forklift / Aerial Work Platform): Must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle / Forklift Driving Licence.
For Operator (Diesel Cranes): Must possess a valid Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence.
Experience :
For Operator (Forklift / Aerial Work Platform): Minimum one year of experience in the operation of Forklift / Aerial Work Platform.
For Operator (Diesel Cranes): Minimum one year of experience in the operation of Diesel Cranes.
Only experience acquired after passing the required qualification will be considered.
Age Limit :
The upper age limit for all posts is 45 years as on 21 November 2025.
This means applicants should be born on or after 22 November 1980.
Age Relaxation :
OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years relaxation (for posts reserved for OBC).
SC Candidates: 5 years relaxation (for posts reserved for SC).
Ex-servicemen & Retired CAPF Personnel: The upper age limit is 60 years.
Important Note :
The notification states that Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) candidates are not eligible to apply for these posts due to the nature of the job.
Salary & Benefits (Contract Basis)
Candidates selected for the Operator posts will receive an attractive monthly payment. Since this is a contract position, the remuneration is offered as a “consolidated pay.”
In the first year of the contract, the monthly consolidated pay will be ₹27,000/-.
This is not all. The salary structure includes an annual increase, meaning your consolidated pay will increase in the subsequent years of the contract.
Additionally, CSL offers an extra payment for working on holidays. You will be eligible for extra hour payment at a double rate for working on holidays, limited to a maximum of 25 hours per month. This provides a significant boost to your monthly earnings.
Selection Process :
The selection process for the CSL Operator recruitment is focused on practical skills. It will consist of two main stages:
Stage 1: Certificate Verification
Before the practical test, candidates will undergo certificate verification. You must produce all your original certificates to prove your age, educational qualification, experience, and caste (if claiming reservation). Only candidates who successfully complete this verification will be allowed to attend the Practical Test.
Stage 2: Practical Test (100 Marks)
This is the main selection test, designed to evaluate your operational skills.
- The test will carry a total of 100 marks.
- Rank lists will be prepared based on the marks you secure in this test.
Minimum Pass Marks:
- UR & EWS: 50%
- OBC: 45% (for reserved posts)
- SC: 40% (for reserved posts)

One-Time Registration: If you are a new user, complete the one-time registration in the SAP Online portal.

After final submission, your application status should show as “In process”.
