Selection list for the tenure post of Senior Residents in various Departments of GMC Srinagar
Notification No. 25 -RA of 2025
Whereas; vide Government Order No. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 Dated. 20.06.2024 Criteria/Policy Guidelines for Eligibility/Selection were framed by the Administrative Department, Health and Medical Education for eligibility/selection of the tenured positions of Senior Residents/Tutor in all the Government Medical Colleges; and
Whereas; after the issuance of the aforesaid guidelines, this office vide Advertisement Notice issued under No. 13 OF 2025 Dated. 11-10-2025 invited applications from the eligible candidates possessing requisite qualification for filling up of tenure posts of Senior Resident/Demonstrator (In-service/not In-service doctors) in the various disciplines of Government Medical College, Srinagar; and
Whereas; in response to the aforesaid Advertisement Notice, this office has received 24 application forms in 208 departments / disciplines; and
Whereas; on scrutiny of application forms, it was found that in the following 11 disciplines/departments, the number of applications are less than or equal to the vacant positions:
Discipline
1. ANESTHESIOLOGY
2. GERIATRICS
3. MEDICAL ONCOLOGY
4. MEDICINE
5. NEONATOLOGY
6. NEURO SURGERY
7. PAEDIATRICS
8. PEDIATRIC GASTROENTEROLOGY
9. PEDIATRIC SURGERY
10. RESPIRATORY MEDICINE
11. SURGICAL GASTROENTEROLOGY
Whereas; in terms of Government Order NO. 383-JK (HME) of 2024 Dated. 20.06.2024 there is no need to conduct written tests for selection purpose in the disciplines where the number of applications is less than or equal to the posts advertised.
Now, therefore, in light of the above stated position, the selection list comprising of 58 candidates in the aforesaid disciplines /departments as indicated in the Annexure “A” to this Notification is hereby notified for information of all concerned. However, selection of the candidates whose post graduation result is awaited shall be subject to passing of their Final post graduation Examination.
The candidates figuring in the Annexure “A” to this Notification are hereby directed to report to the Office of the Registrar Academics,
Government Medical College, Srinagar along with the following documents within 07 days from the date of issuance of this notification, to enable this office to send URL, login ID & Password to their respective registered Mobile number for submission of online form through Employeе Verification System (EVS) to the concerned doctors: –
1. Application form (in colored).
2. xerox copies of all uploaded certificates.
3. Affidavit (in original).
4. All Original Certificates for physical verification.
