Experience, NET and Research publications are invited from the eligible candidates for the temporary position in Department of Biotechnology (DBT) sponsored research project entitled, “Maintaining ecosystem services in fragile forests of Northwest Himalayas: Conservation and restoration of insect biodiversity for livelihood security”.
The position of SRF is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project i.e. December, 2025 or the project period is detailed below :
Name of the Post : Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
No. of Post : 1 (one)
Emoluments per month : Rs. 35,000 + HRA per month
Essential Qualification : M. Sc. Entomology/ Zoology/life sciences with outstanding credentials in Entomology with relevant
experience

The application should reach the office of Principal Investigator (Maintaining ecosystem services in fragile forests of Northwest Himalayas: Conservation and restoration of insect biodiversity for livelihood security), Division of Sericulture, Block No. 05, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu, Main Campus, Chatha, Jammu-180 009 along with
self attested copies of the certificates and testimonials on or before 19-11-2025 at 5:00 PM.
Eligible candidates will be interviewed on 20-11-2025 in the office of Director Research, SKUAST-Jammu at 2:30 P.M
No separate intimation shall be issued & No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.

Terms and Conditions for projects are as under :
1. The position is purely temporary, time bound and co-terminus with the project i.e., December 2025 or the project period if extended.
2. The University reserves the right to fill or not to fill the positions, depending on the qualifications/credentials of the candidates applied etc.
3. The services of the incumbent shall stand terminated automatically on expiry of the period with no claim of absorption against any temporary/regular post in the University.
4. The appointee can be terminated at any time by University without assigning any reason thereof.
5. No TA/DA shall be paid for attending the interview.
6. No application entertained after the last date quoted.
