Winter Vacations in Kashmir Schools to Begin from Dec 1: Sakina Itoo
With temperatures dipping sharply across the Valley, the government has announced that winter vacations for Nursery to Middle classes in Kashmir will commence from the first week of December.
Education Minister Sakina Itoo said the decision was taken after a detailed review of the weather conditions and consultations with school authorities across districts.
“We understand the difficulties children face in the current weather. Protecting their health, while keeping academic continuity in mind, is our priority,” she said.
