JKPSC Reject of Candidates for Jobs
Filling up of the post of Associate Professor (Architecture) in Higher Education Department- Rejection of candidature thereof.
Notice Dated: 20.11.2025
Whereas, the candidature of the following three candidates was rejected for post of Associate Professor (Architecture) in Higher Education Department by the Commission vide Notice dated 30.09.2025, the candidates were afforded the opportunity to represent themselves, before the Appellate Authority if they wish.
i. Ms. Charu Kapoor.
ii. Ms. Deepika Gupta.
İii. Ms. Qazi Qamar Iqbal
Whereas, in response to the ibid Notice only one candidate, namely, Ms. Deepika Gupta has submitted representation in which she requested for consideration of her experience certificates; and
Whereas, the documents/experience certificates of Ms. Deepika Gupta was placed before the Appellate Authority of the Commission for decision in the matter.
The Appellate Authority has examined the Experience Certificate of the applicant and decided are as under:-
Since the appellant has failed to produce the required experience certificates for the duration of 13 years of professional experience or eight years teaching/ research/ professional work out of which a full-time teaching experience of minimum five years from the government/ government recognized institutions or from the private institution recognized by the government as is required in terms
of Rule 45 of J&K Public Service Commission (Business & Procedure) Rules, 2021, as such, the experience submitted by the appellant cannot be treated as valid for the purpose of recruitment for the said post.
The appeal of the appellant, as such, is devoid of any merits and is accordingly dismissed.
