GMC Srinagar Written examination Schedule Released

Written examination (OMR Based) for selection/engagement as Medical Officer on academic arrangement basis

Notification No.: 45-EC of 2025 Dated: 01-12-2025

It is hereby notified for information of all those candidates who have applied for engagement as Medical Officer, on academic arrangement basis in terms of S.O. 364 of 2020; Dated: 27.11.2020 in response to Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2025, Dated: 31.10.2025, that their OMR based examination will be held in Government Medical College and Government College of Nursing,
Dewan Bagh, Srinagar on 08.12.2025 (Monday) from 02:00 PM to 03:00 PM.

In this context, the applicants are advised to strictly follow the instructions for participation in the examination:

01. The admit cards/roll number slips of the candidates shall be available w.e.f. 03.12.2025 in their respective Registered User Accounts through which they applied for the above post.

02. On the actual date of the examination, the candidates shall report at the examination centre one (01) hour prior to the scheduled commencement of examination for verification of their identity along with their admit cards (coloured format only) and anyone of the following documents as proof of their identity: –
a. Photo Identity card issued by the competent authority.
b. Driving license.
c. Pan card/Adhaar card.

The candidates are advised to bring one cardboard along with them.

Candidates must not bring any prohibited items to the examination centre.

The candidates are also advised to bring blue/black ball pen in order to mark an answer on OMR sheets.

Any type of electronic devices, mobile phones, bluetooth devices, scanning devices, earphones, tablets, books, note books, calculators, smart watches, laptop, I-pad etc. are not allowed inside the venue. Violation, if any, shall be dealt strictly under law.

Scratching, overwriting, tick-marks and multiple answers will be considered wrong.
