- BE/B.Tech in relevant Engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, ECE, CSE, etc.) from recognized university
- Post-qualification experience of 20 / 15 / 12 / 8 / 5 years (varies by post) in Railways / Metro / RRTS / Major Rail PSUs
- Specific domain experience in Rolling Stock, Signalling, Telecom, Traction, Contracts, AFC, E&M, Depot M&P, etc. as mentioned in notification
- For Deputation: Serving in Group ‘A’ executive service in Railways / Railway PSUs / Metro Corporations
Age Limit :
- Chief Engineer: 55 Years (Contract) / 56 Years (Deputation)
- Dy. Chief Engineer: 48 Years
- Executive Engineer: 42 Years
- Assistant Executive Engineer: 40 Years (Contract only)
- Assistant Engineer: 36 Years (Contract only)
Salary/Stipend :
- Chief Engineer: Rs. 2,06,250/-
- Dy. Chief Engineer: Rs. 1,64,000/-
- Executive Engineer: Rs. 1,06,250/
- Assistant Executive Engineer: Rs. 81,250/
- Assistant Engineer: Rs. 62,500/-
