Eligibility Criteria :

Essential Qualifications: First Class Engineering Degree (B.E/B.Tech) in CSE/IT/ECE/EEE/E&I/Instrumentation/Electronics from any recognized University / Institution

Assistant Project Engineer: Diploma

Experience: Minimum 1 year post qualification experience in relevant field as specified for each category

 

Salary/Stipend :

Project Engineer on Contract (PE-C): ₹ 40,000/month for 1st year ₹ 45,000/month for 2nd year ₹ 50,000/month for 3rd year ₹ 55,000/month for 4th year

Technical Officer on Contract (TOC): ₹ 25,000/month for 1st year ₹ 28,000/month for 2nd year ₹ 31,000/month for 3rd & 4th years

Assistant Project Engineer on Contract (APE-C):  ₹ 25,506/month#

 

Age Limit (as on 20-12-2025)

Maximum 33 years for PE-C posts

Maximum 30 years for TO-C and APE-C posts

Relaxation: 3 years for OBC (NCL), 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for PwBD (UR), 13 years for PwBD (OBC), 15 years for PwBD (SC/ST)

Selection Process :

Written Test (Objective type, 80% weightage)

Skill Test (20% weightage, qualifying nature)

Final merit based on written test performance

 

General Information/Instructions :

Initial contract for 1 year, extendable up to 4 years based on project requirements and performance

Selected candidates may be posted anywhere in India

ECIL reserves right to restrict/cancel number of posts, alter selection process

Canvassing in any form will disqualify candidature

 

How to Apply :

Eligible candidates may download the Application Form from our website (www.ecil.co.in) and should report at the venue with duly filled in application form & resume along with the following original certificates & a set of self-attested photocopies:

a. 10th Class certificate or School leaving certificate as Date of birth proof;

b. Documents in support of Qualification (Certificate & Marks sheet);

c. CGPA to percentage conversion certificate from institution/university is mandatory in case of grade evaluation system, if any;

d. Experience certificates from previous employment, clearly mentioning the duration (from & to dates) and post held. If candidate is currently in employment, a copy of Appointment Order & first and recent pay slips are to be produced without fail. Work experience indicated without supporting documents shall not be considered and is liable to be excluded while calculating the post-qualification tenure;

e. Category certificate (EWS/OBC/SC/ST), if applying against such reserved posts; In case of OBC, (not older than a year from date of selection) with mandate mention of ‘Non-Creamy Layer’ clause. Candidates with Non Creamy Layer certificate are only eligible to apply against OBC Category

f. Identity proof (Govt. issued only; Aadhar, Passport etc.);

g. A valid certificate with respect to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD); Discharge certificate in case of Ex-servicemen; Relevant certificate, if claiming age relaxation as candidate from J&K; if any.
