Appointment of Junior Assistants after operation of Waiting List in the Subordinate Courts of Jammu & Kashmir (Kashmir Division)
pursuant to Advertisement Notification No. 06 of 2024/Psy Dated 28.08.2024
Reference :
i. Appointment order issued vide High Court order No. 1410 of 2025/Psy dated 26.09.2025.
ii. Waiting List issued vide High Court order No. 3103/Psy dated 26.09.2025
Whereas, in terms of High Court Order No. 1410 of 2025/Psy Dated 26.09.2025, the appointment order was issued in favour of 81 candidates as Junior Assistants for Kashmir Division after completion of the Selection process.
Whereas, the newly appointees, vide High Court Order No. 1410 of 2025/Psy Dated 26.09.2025, were directed to join before the concerned Pr. District & Sessions Judge for further postings within the period of21 days from the date of issuance of order with the rider that any appointee who fails to join within the stipulated period, in that event his/her appointment shall be deemed to have been
cancelled without any further notice.
Whereas, the concerned Principal District & Sessions Judges were asked intimate the reporting/non-reporting of the appointees in their respective Districts.
Whereas, the concerned Principal District & Sessions Judges of Kashmir Division intimated that out of 81 appointed candidates, 03 candidates failed to report/did not join for duties in their respective Districts within the stipulated period, the details of which is shown at Annexure-B
Whereas, the matter was placed before the Competent Authority and His Lordship was pleased to cancel ab initio the appointment of the above referred 03 candidates and also directed the appointment of other candidates from the Waiting List in place of cancelled appointees under rules.
Now, therefore, taking into consideration the above facts, the appointment of 03 candidates to the post of Junior Assistant, who figure in Annexure–B · to this order, is cancelled ab initio. Consequently, the· candidates who figure in Annexure-B to this order are appointed as Junior Assistant in Pay Level-4 (25500-81100), in place of cancelled appointees, with further direction to
join before concerned Pr. District & Sessions Judges for further posting in the District, subject to conditions/formalities as mentioned in Annexure-B2 to this order.
