Discipline Code 109 – Trade Apprentice (Electronics Mechanic): Matric with regular full time 2 year ITI (Electronics Mechanic) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT
Discipline Code 110 – Trade Apprentice (Instrument Mechanic): Matric with regular full time 2 year ITI (Instrument Mechanic) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT
Discipline Code 111 – Trade Apprentice (Machinist): Matric with regular full time 2 year ITI (Machinist) course recognized by NCVT/SCVT
Discipline Code 101 – Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 3 years regular full time Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized Institute/University

Discipline Code 105 – Technician Apprentice (Electrical & Electronics): 3 years regular full time Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized Institute/University
Discipline Code 106 – Technician Apprentice (Electronics): 3 years regular full time Diploma in Electronics Engineering with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized Institute/University
Discipline Code 112 – Graduate Apprentice: Regular full time Graduate in any discipline (BA/B.Com/B.Sc/BBA) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized Institute/University
Discipline Code 113 – Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Fresher): Class 12th (but below graduate) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized Institute/Board
Discipline Code 114 – Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator (Skilled Certificate Holders): Class 12th (but below graduate) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate for General, EWS and OBC-NCL & 45% in case of SC/ST/PwBD candidates from a recognized Institute/Board. Additionally, candidates should possess Skill Certificate of ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ for training of less than one year issued by an awarding body recognized under National Skill Qualifications Framework or any other authority recognized by the Central Government
Essential Conditions :
The qualification prescribed shall be from a recognized University/Institute as a full-time regular course in relevant disciplines
Qualification acquired through Part-time/Correspondence/Distance Learning mode shall render the candidate NOT ELIGIBLE
For Graduate and Technician disciplines, only those applicants who have acquired the prescribed qualification between 01.04.2022 and 31.12.2025 shall be considered eligible
For Trade Apprentices (ITI/Data Entry Operator) only those applicants who have acquired the prescribed qualification between 01.04.2021 and 31.12.2025 shall be considered eligible
Candidates possessing higher professional qualifications such as B.E./B.Tech., MBA or equivalent or MCA/CA/ICWA, LLB or any such equivalent qualification or pursuing higher qualification and having completed the same on or before joining the apprenticeship training shall NOT BE ELIGIBLE
Wherever CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade is awarded, its equivalent aggregate percentage of marks must be indicated in the Online Application as per the norms adopted by Board/University/Institute
Candidates possessing Diploma in Engineering in relevant trade/discipline under a recognized lateral entry scheme shall also be considered eligible subject to meeting prescribed percentage of marks
Previous Apprenticeship Training Conditions :
A Candidate may undergo maximum two apprenticeship training, and the second training shall not be in the same trade
There shall be minimum one year gap between two apprenticeship training, provided that the previous training is completed
No gap shall be required in the case of termination of previous apprenticeship training due to failure on the part of the employer
Where an apprentice has terminated a previous apprenticeship contract due to health or financial hardship or relocation, transportation or career changes or language barrier, the waiting period of three month shall apply before the apprentice shall enter into another contract of apprenticeship with the same employer or any other employer and there shall be no waiting period for women
Salary/Stipend :
Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973, Apprentices Rules 1992/2019/2025 as amended from time to time
The exact stipend amount will be communicated at the time of engagement
Stipend will be paid on monthly basis during the apprenticeship training period
Age Limit (as on 31-12-2025) :
Minimum Age: 18 years
Maximum Age: 24 years
Age Relaxation for SC/ST: 5 years (maximum age up to 29 years)
Age Relaxation for OBC-NCL: 3 years (maximum age up to 27 years)
Age Relaxation for PwBD: 10 years (maximum age up to 34 years)
Age Relaxation for PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years (maximum age up to 39 years)
Age Relaxation for PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years (maximum age up to 37 years)
Date of Reckoning: 31.12.2025

Selection Process :
Candidates must register successfully on NAPS/NATS portal and apply against the notification to be considered for selection process
No Written Test/Interview: There will be no written test or interview for the selection
Merit-Based Selection: Merit list of all the candidates who have applied against a respective post in the portal and meeting the notified eligibility criteria shall be prepared based on the percentage of marks secured in the essential prescribed qualification for the post
The shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification
Candidates will have to complete Pre-engagement medical fitness test for being adjudged suitable for engagement
Candidates are advised to ensure that they are medically fit as per IndianOil’s pre-engagement medical format
Shortlisted candidates whose documents including Pre-Engagement Medical Fitness Certificate are found in order shall be issued offer of Engagement for Apprenticeship Training
Opportunities not filled through the initial shortlisting process shall be considered for filling by eligible and qualifying candidates from the panel cum merit list from the same opportunity

Candidates are advised to register as a Technician/Trade/Graduate Apprentice online in the NAPS/NATS portals under the respective State as per their Trades
Trade Apprentice (ITI/Data Entry Operator) must register at https://www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in/
Technician Apprentice (Diploma) must register at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
Graduate Apprentice must register at https://nats.education.gov.in/student_register.php
Candidates need to LOGIN to the respective NATS/NAPS portal using their User ID/Email ID and APPLY for the apprenticeship Openings with the Establishment ID: NATS – EWBKOC000077, NAPS – E05201900011
Candidates MUST ensure their profile (Personal Details, Educational Details, Category etc.) along with aggregate percentage are appearing correctly in application
Candidates have to apply for ANY ONE DISCIPLINE CODE ONLY. Candidates applying for more than one discipline Code will not be considered
The candidature of the applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificates and testimonials
Engagement of selected candidates is subject to his/her being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Corporation
The decision of the Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications
Applications which are incomplete or not fulfilling the eligibility criteria shall not be considered “Eligible” and treated as “Rejected”
Upon completion of the apprenticeship period, the Corporation shall have NO obligation to offer employment to such apprentices
Candidates must have an active email ID and Mobile number which must be valid for at least 1 year as all future communications will take place through email alerts
Candidates must have PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, and Bank Account linked with Aadhar

SC/ST/OBC (NCL-Non-Creamy Layer) candidates applying for Unreserved (UR) seats shall be considered subject to their fulfilling the standards applicable to General category
Reservation for PwBD shall be applied on horizontal basis, across all categories, as per Government guidelines
PwBD are not eligible to apply for Discipline Code 101, 102, 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 111

Step 2: Login to the respective NATS/NAPS portal using your User ID/Email ID
Step 3: Apply for the apprenticeship Openings/Opportunities with the Establishment ID of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Marketing Division)-Eastern Region:

Step 4: Ensure all profile details (Personal Details, Educational Details, Category, aggregate percentage etc.) are appearing correctly in the application
Step 5: After applying on NAPS/NATS portal, candidates MUST also furnish few details including choice of 3 (three) locations for training and document verification through Microsoft Form at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/4846hcLHPE latest by 09.01.2026
Step 6: Submit the application before the last date: 09.01.2026 @ 5:00 PM
