Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following position, purely on a temporary contract-basis under an ICMR-funded project titled, A Comprehensive Epidemiological Survey of Avian Influenza Virus in the Migratory Pathways of Jammu and Kashmir, being undertaken at Laboratory of Vaccine Biotechnology, Division of Animal Biotechnology, Faculty of Veterinary
Sciences and Animal Husbandry, SKUAST-Kashmir.

Position : Project Research Scientist (Non-Medical)

Number of posts : 01

Eligibility :

Essential: –
First class master’s degree in Virology or allied life-sciences from a recognized university.
or Second-class master’s degree with PhD in Virology or allied life sciences from a recognized university

Desirable :
Experience in molecular and cellular virology, and viral immunology.

Previous experience working in a Biosafety level-II or above-certified laboratory.
