Applications on plain paper are invited from eligible candidates for below mentioned tenure post in Research and Extension Program (SREP) 2025-26, sponsored by Department of Science & Technology, J&K entitled “Elucidating genomic basis of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy associated sudden cardiac death and heart failure for a tailored personalized cardiac care: Kashmir Heart Project” purely on temporary basis for a period of 4 months and/or duration of the project subject to his/her performance.
The application along with relevant documents shall be submitted in the office of Principal Investigator up to
25/12/2025.

Name of the post : Junior Research Fellow
Qualification required : MSc in Biochemistry/Medical Lab. Technology (Cl. Biochemistry/ Immunology)/ Biotechnology,
Molecular Biology/or Molecular medicine, or related field with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a UGC recognized University.
Desirable : The candidate should have an experience in relevant field especially molecular biology techniques like PCR, Real-time PCR, DNA Sequencing and data analysis.
Terms and conditions :
1. The appointment can be terminated with one month notice from either side without assigning any reason.
2. Since the post is purely temporary, the candidates selected will have no claim for regular appointments under the above project or continuation of his/her services in any other project.
3. Also the candidate cannot claim for any regular appointment at this institute after termination of the project.
4. Mere fulfilling the essential qualification does not guarantee for the interview call and selection.
5. The duration of the project is only two years
6. As per guidelines of the funding agency, the emoluments will be Rs 25000/- consolidated per month
7. No TA/DA will be given to attend interview.
