No of Posts : 22 (tentative) for experienced personnel in various disciplines and levels

 

Eligibility Criteria : 

Assistant General Manager (PEM): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation with minimum 60% marks and minimum 16 years’ experience in design and engineering for refinery, petrochemical, gas processing, fertilizer, chemical plants or ferrous/non‑ferrous metallurgical projects, including at least 5 years as Project/Interface/Engineering/Study Manager; 1–2 years construction site experience preferred.

Senior Manager (PEM): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical/Civil/Instrumentation with minimum 65% marks and minimum 12 years’ similar experience, including at least 4 years as Project/Interface/Engineering/Study Manager; 1–2 years construction site experience preferred.

Senior Manager (Projects) / Manager (Projects) / Deputy Manager (Projects): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Civil with minimum 65% marks and minimum 12/8/4 years’ relevant experience respectively as Project Manager/Coordinator in PMC/EPCM or EPCC/LSTK/BOO/BOOT projects in process or infrastructure industries; for Senior Manager, at least 4 years as Project Manager with successful completion of one greenfield process/infra project is essential.

Manager (Copper Smelter) / Manager (Aluminium Smelter): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Metallurgy Engineering/Metallurgical and Materials Engineering with minimum 65% marks and minimum 8 years’ experience in design/operations of copper or primary aluminium smelter respectively; desirable experience in process/basic/detailed engineering of specific smelter units like primary/secondary smelter, gas cleaning plant, pot room, carbon plant, cast house, etc.

Manager (Planning and Scheduling): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Industrial/Production/Mechanical/Electrical/Instrumentation/Civil with minimum 65% marks and minimum 8 years’ experience as Planning Manager/Engineer with expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project or similar tools, covering office and field planning for engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, pre‑commissioning and commissioning.

Deputy Manager (Electrical): BE/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg.) in Electrical with minimum 65% marks and minimum 4 years’ experience in design and engineering of electrical systems in refinery, petrochemical, gas processing, fertilizer, chemical or metallurgy plants; experience in Smart Plant Electrical and ETAP electrical system studies preferred.

Salary/Stipend : 

Assistant General Manager: Pay Scale ₹ 1,00,000–2,60,000 with approximate total CTC ₹ 33.48 lakhs per annum calculated at lowest basic pay.

Senior Manager: Pay Scale ₹ 90,000–2,40,000 with approximate total CTC ₹ 30.13 lakhs per annum at lowest basic pay.

Manager: Pay Scale ₹ 80,000–2,20,000 with approximate total CTC ₹ 26.66 lakhs per annum at lowest basic pay.

Deputy Manager: Pay Scale ₹ 70,000–2,00,000 with approximate total CTC ₹ 23.45 lakhs per annum at lowest basic pay.

CTC includes basic pay, DA, HRA, other perks and allowances, encashment of earned leaves and retirement benefits; Post‑Retirement Medical Coverage Scheme is applicable to candidates who are 45 years or below on the date they come on regular rolls, with specific conditions for those joining after resigning from a CPSE.

 

Age Limit (as on 30-11-2025) :

Assistant General Manager (PEM): Upper age limit 44 years.

Senior Manager (PEM) and Senior Manager (Projects): Upper age limit 40 years.

Manager (Projects / Copper Smelter / Aluminium Smelter / Planning & Scheduling): Upper age limit 36 years.

Deputy Manager (Projects / Electrical): Upper age limit 32 years.

Upper age relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (Non‑Creamy Layer), 10 years for PwD‑General/EWS, 13 years for PwD‑OBC(NCL) and 15 years for PwD‑SC/ST; relaxation also applicable for Ex‑servicemen and departmental candidates as per rules.

Selection Process : 

Prescribed qualification and experience are minimum and do not automatically entitle candidates to participate in the selection process; EIL may restrict the number of candidates called for interview by raising percentage of marks and/or required relevance of experience.

Only shortlisted candidates will be informed for interview through email.

The mode of selection for Deputy Manager, Manager, Senior Manager and AGM is through interview at New Delhi/Gurugram or through video conferencing; venue/mode will be intimated separately.

Outstation candidates called for interview for Deputy Manager/Manager/Senior Manager/AGM positions are entitled to reimbursement of II AC sleeper rail fare from mailing address to venue by shortest route, as per rules, upon submission of TA form and travel proof.

 

General Information/Instructions :

Online submission is permitted on the website between 0000 hrs on 19.12.2025 and 2359 hrs on 02.01.2026; any change in advertisement, including extension of last date, will be published only on EIL website.

A candidate can apply for one position only; in case of multiple applications, the latest application will be considered and older ones rejected without notice.

Cut‑off date for educational qualification, required experience and upper age is 30.11.2025; candidates must specify percentage marks (no rounding off) and provide documentary proof for CGPA/percentage conversion at interview.

Only those meeting prescribed eligibility criteria need apply; applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn and if at any stage a candidate is found ineligible or having furnished incorrect information, candidature will be cancelled.

PwD candidates with 40% or more permanent disability are eligible under PwD category; reservations and relaxations for PwD shall be as per Government of India guidelines.

Candidates working in PSU/Government sector/Government Institution (including subsidiary) must apply through proper channel or submit No Objection Certificate at interview; failure to produce NOC will result in candidature not being considered and TA not being paid.

Court of jurisdiction for any dispute will be at Delhi, and EIL reserves the right to cancel the advertisement and/or selection process without assigning reasons.

Candidates should carefully read all instructions on the website, then fill the online form with correct details.

Before starting registration, candidates should keep properly scanned copies of latest passport size colour photograph, signature, date of birth proof, all experience certificates, disability certificate (if applicable) and caste certificate (if applicable) ready for upload in specified formats and sizes.

Candidates are not required to send print‑out of the registered application by post, but must retain a copy for reference and for submission at the time of personal interview, if shortlisted.

It is mandatory to attach documents as per list mentioned; screening and selection will be based on details provided in the online application and attached documents.
