- Four years full time degree in Engineering or equivalent in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Marine Engineering/ Civil/ Production/ Naval Architecture with minimum 55%-60% marks or equivalent CGPA as per post.
For Finance Posts:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) OR Cost & Management Accountant (CMA)
For IT Posts:
- Four years full time degree in Engineering or equivalent in any discipline OR Full time Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
For Legal Posts:
- Full Time Graduate and full time LLB from Bar Council recognized institution
For Medical Posts:
- MBBS degree from National Medical Commission recognized University
For Admin / HR / Company Secretary / Safety / Security Posts:
- Specific Graduate / PG / Diploma as detailed in notification
Age Limit (As on 01 December 2025)
The candidates who are willing to apply for the GRSE Officer Recruitment 2025 must have a minimum age of 28 years for entry level posts, and the category-wise maximum age has been detailed below. The age limits are calculated as of 01 December 2025.

Selection Process 2025 :
The GRSE Officer selection is based on experience shortlisting and interview. The interview focuses on assessing the candidate’s skills/knowledge. Only those who qualify in the interview are selected. The final selection is based entirely on interview performance for most posts.
The GRSE Officer 2025 selection process is carried out in 2 main stages, as explained below:
- Shortlisting: Based on application, experience, qualification
- Interview: For all posts except AM
- Written Test + Interview: For Assistant Manager posts
Salary :
Candidates selected as Officer in GRSE are appointed under various Pay Levels. The basic pay starts at Rs. 30000 per month, and the total monthly salary can go up to approximately Rs. 300000 in metro cities after including allowances. Additional benefits include DA, HRA, CPF, Gratuity, PRP etc.
