Provisional Selection List for the post of Driver, UT Cadre of Home
Department in J&K Forensic Science Laboratory, advertised vide
Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2025 Dated: 27.01.2025 under
Item No. 01

Whereas, the Home Department, vide indent No. HOME-FSL/19/2024-10- HOME
Dated 16.08.2024 followed by 07.10.2024 forwarded the requisition for making direct
recruitment to the below-mentioned 23 posts, which were subsequently advertised under
item nos. as mentioned as per the following break up

Whereas, the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) advertised the
aforesaid 23 posts of Home Department in J&K Forensic Science Laboratory, vide

Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2025 Dated: 27.01.2025; and

Whereas, as per the Notification, the selection to these posts was to be made on
the basis of Driving Test and Written Examination and, accordingly, the JKSSB conducted
the Driving test on 02-04-2025 to 26-05-2025 at State Motor Garages, New Plot,
Jammu/Bemina, Srinagar and OMR based written test on 15.06.2025; and

Whereas, on the basis of merit obtained by the candidates, the Document
Verification was conducted vide Notice No. JKSSB-COE0EXAM(UT)/23/2025-03(7699962)
dated 07-10-2025 both at Jammu and Srinagar by the DV Committees. Separate DV for the
left-out candidates was also conducted vide Notice No. JKSSB-Scry/ 34/2025-03(7793725)
dated 18.11.2025; and

Whereas, the Selection Committee for preparing the selection to the
aforementioned posts was constituted vide Order No. 332-SSB of 2025 dated
28.10.2025 and the selection stands framed by the Selection committee strictly in
accordance with the indent received from the Indenting Department; and

Whereas, the provisional Selection List, as prepared by the aforesaid selection
committee for the aforementioned posts was placed before the Board in its 331st Board
Meeting held on 19.12.2025 which after due deliberations and consideration of the matter,
approved its notification; and

Now therefore, the provisional Selection List for the above-mentioned post(s) of Driver
of Home Department in J&K Forensic Science Laboratory advertised vide Advertisement
Notification No. 01 of 2025 Dated: 27.01.2025 is hereby notified as per Annexure-A to
this Notification. It is further notified that:

(i) This Provisional Selection List shall be subject to the outcome of the OAs/ writ
petition(s), if any, pending in any court of law.

(ii) The list shall also be subject to the outcome of pending inquiry, if any, involving
candidate(s), figuring in this selection List.

(iii) This is a provisional List and shall be subject to the change(s) as per the
objections as may be received against it and mere figuring in it shall not confer
any right to selection, which shall be finalized after examination of the objections
based on merit.

(iv) In case any candidate/s is(are) aggrieved with this provisional Selection List or
intend(s) to furnish any document/clarification regarding his/her withheld
candidature, he/she may represent through the email address Usselectionjkssb@
jk.gov.in within Five (05) days from the date of issuance of this

Notification, beyond which no representations whatsoever shall be entertained.
The representations in this regard shall necessarily include complete details of
the candidate including Name, Address, Roll Number and an active Contact
Number.
