Advertisement notice for engagement of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahiyikas (Anganwadi Helpers) in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Ramban on honorary basis.

Approval has been accorded vide letter No.: MD/Poshan/Estt/47253-61 dated 24-12-2025 for filling up of various vacancies of Sanginis (Anganwadi Workers) and Sahiyikas (Anganwadi Helpers) for 5th phase out of vacancies as on 30-09-2025 in Anganwadi Centres of Poshan Project Ramban.

Applications are invited on the prescribed format (Annexure “A”) from eligible female candidates as per details given below.

Eligibility Criteria for Selection of Sanginis (AWWs)

a. Women candidates in the age group of 18–37 years.
b. Candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.
c. Candidate should be resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is situated. Name in voter list shall be considered as proof of residence. If name appears with parents, a marriage certificate issued by the concerned Tehsildar is required.
d. Minimum qualification shall be 10+2, maximum qualification shall be graduation.
e. If no eligible candidate is available from the ward, candidate from adjoining ward may be considered with approval of Mission Director, Mission Poshan J&K.
f. Selection shall be purely on merit, based on marks obtained in 10+2.
g. Eligible family member of a retiring Anganwadi Worker/Helper shall be given additional 2 percent points.
h. In case of tie, candidate with higher age shall be preferred.
i. Candidates with qualification higher than graduation shall not be considered

Eligibility Criteria for Selection of Sahiyikas (AWHs)

a. Selection restricted to the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
b. Women candidates aged 18–37 years as on 01-01-2026.
c. Candidate must be a domicile of UT of J&K.
d. Minimum qualification shall be Matriculation.
e. Selection shall be purely on merit, based on marks obtained in 10th class.
f. If no matriculate candidate is available, candidates with qualification not less than VIII standard shall be considered.
g. Preference shall be given to married women of the ward who fulfill eligibility criteria.

Affidavit sworn before 1st Class Judicial Magistrate stating candidate does not possess qualification higher than graduation

All documents must be self-attested by the candidate.

Best scholarships for J&K students after 12th

The prescribed application forms along with requisite documents shall be submitted in the office of Child Development Project Officer, Poshan Ramban during office hours up to the cut-off date 28-01-2026 (4:00 PM) against proper receipt. No application form shall be accepted after the last date.
